Hi, I’m Lori!

I’m the photographer behind Vibe + Light Photography. I believe great photos should feel like you—natural, genuine, and full of your personality.

 

Whether we’re celebrating a high school senior, updating family photos, capturing a couple in love, or documenting a special event, my goal is to create beautiful images while making the experience relaxed and fun. I’ll offer direction when you need it, leave room for the candid moments in between, and probably encourage a little laughter along the way.

 

I’m patient, playful, and never expect you to arrive knowing exactly what to do in front of the camera. That’s my job. Together, we’ll create photographs that feel comfortable, authentic, and true to this season of your life.

I’ve called Northern Michigan home for more than 20 years, and its water, woods, changing seasons, and incredible light are a huge part of what inspires my photography. I love working outdoors and finding beautiful natural settings that compliment the people I’m photographing.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my husband, our three young-adult children, and our two dogs—who are always game when hiking is in our day.
